Yuki no Bosha - which translates to cabin in the snow - is named after the cold and snowy region of Akita where the sake is brewed. The brewery gets so engulfed in snow during winter that the fermentation process gets cooled and slowed, resulting in a fermentation process that takes 5-10 times longer than production in other areas.

The beautiful aromas in this sake come from a proprietary blend of twelve different yeast strains, some of them derived from fruits like apples and strawberries. The sake itself is filled with contrasting notes of juicy fruit and spicy, mineral complexity. Gentle hints of anise on the nose blend with tons of beautiful fruit on the palate, finishing with a touch of pepper.
