Peko Sweets

Peko Milky Candy by confectionery company Fujiya is one of the most famous and well-loved sweets in Japan. They've been around since 1951, so they've certainly stood the test of time! This pack is adorned with the Peko-chan character on the front, which can be seen everywhere in Japan from billboards to phone covers. The sweets are individually wrapped, and you are lucky if you find a wrapping with a lucky clover design on it!

The candies have a deliciously creamy milk flavour, created using naturally rich milk from Hokkaido. The texture is lovely and chewy, similar to caramel or soft toffee.
